Eccleshall travel to Bolton on Saturday for the 1st Division fixture against 21st placed Daisy Hill, hoping to continue their improved form which has seen them rise to 8th place on the current form standings ( 19th overall ) with a record of W-3, D-1, L-2 from their last six league games.
Although he didn't score in last weeks defeat of Carlisle City, Louis Downs still leads the way with 9 ( 12 in total ) league goals so far.
Daisy Hill come into the game with 5 loses and a draw from their last six league games, whilst last time out they lost at league leaders Silsden and will be in action again tonight against Premier league outfit Padiham in the Lancashire Challenge Trophy.
Complacency and respect are at the top of manager Dave Dale's agenda as he looked ahead to the fixture saying " Daisy Hill proves to be another game where we need to be very much at it, as I'm sure that they will be looking at the league table and saying to themselves that they can get something out of it.
Complacency and a lack of respect for our opponents is something we must make sure we leave at home, 10 points out of a possible 12 must not give us any inclination to take our foot off the gas, in fact quite the opposite, we need to push on now and bring all of the points back. Daisy Hill will work hard, as they usually do and it will be a difficult game for us, but the form we are currently in and the confidence the lads have right now could be the difference".
