Eccleshall hosted Nantwich Town last week in our opening pre-season game of the season.

Before the game, we announced our new sponsorship deal with local firm Click Dealer, which began in 1999 as a small family business that developed a stock and website service for independent car dealerships, which employs over 60 people in Stoke-on-Trent. The company will be sponsoring both home and away kits for the club.

In welcoming company director Ollie Moxham to the ground, he was presented with a framed copy of the new home shirt by club Vice Chairman, Neil Washington, before the match.

Ollie Moxham said: “Everyone at Click Dealer is very excited to have the opportunity to sponsor Eccleshall Football Club. We were first introduced to the club through my father-in- law, John Martin, whose son Spencer was first team goalkeeper a short while back. We then had a further meeting with Jim and Neil and could see that there was a tremendous passion from the management team to drive the club forward. There was a great ‘family’ vibe we got from the club too, and as a family business ourselves, it felt like a great opportunity to help provide support and awareness to a local initiative.

“The growth and success of our company has only been possible due to the great local talent we have been able to find – and, judging from their first friendly match, it appears Eccleshall have some great talent on board already.

“I was very humbled with the presentation of the shirt and we are making place for it on the wall at Click as we speak. We are all looking forward to the season ahead and wish Eccleshall and all those involved in the running of the club the best of luck this season."

Club Secretary, Jim Tunney, said: “We are really grateful for Click Dealer’s sponsorship and support for Eccleshall and are delighted to welcome them on board with us. We hope that it is the beginning of a long relationship with them. They have shown a genuine interest in what we are trying to do in moving the club on and we hope that the link will be mutually beneficial. Ollie is already looking to our opening ‘local derby’ home match against Whitchurch Alport for his first taste of league action”.

Everyone associated with the club is excited with the new direction we are heading, and we are delighted Click Dealer are joining us on our journey.
