Eccleshall travel to 3rd placed Prestwich Heys for a Hallmark Security Division 1 fixture on the back of two consecutive home wins. Eccy's recent run of fixtures has seen them face six of the top seven sides in recent weeks, a tough set of games. Louis Downs double in the win against Cammell Laird last week moved him onto 16, whilst he also picked up his 7th man of the match award for the season.
Speaking to the Sentinel, 1st Team Coach Nick Farrington said " we must keep up the good work, given the remaining fixtures, we've set ourselves a target of finishing as close to 10th as possible, this would give us a great starting block for this team to kick on next season. We've worked hard again during this week to implement our style and hopefully we will get our rewards on Saturday, but Prestwich are another side who play fast paced football and we lost to them ( 5-3 ) earlier in the season".
Prestwich come into the game having only played twice since Christmas, winning both against Bacup and Abbey Hulton, Lee Bruce tops the scoring chart with 11 from 21 appearances in all competitions.
