Last Saturday's match against Stafford Town at the Stoke Signage Stadium provided the opportunity for Eagles keeper Adam Whitehouse to finally receive his NWCFL Goalkeeper of the Month award from last November. A series of match postponements due to the weather had prevented the presentation going ahead earlier.

Since joining the club, Adam's performances have provided a solid basis for the Eagles' run of good form which left them in second place in the league going in to the new year. In November, in the five matches played, he kept three clean sheets and only conceded three goals in helping the team to five victories. His award was fully deserved and the photo shows him being presented with a pair of goalkeeping gloves by NWCFL League Ambassador, Andrew Reid.
