Eccleshall FC is proud to announce that Under 11s player, Elijah Harris, has signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy, marking a significant milestone in his footballing journey.
Elijah joined Eccleshall at the start of the 2024/25 season, becoming part of our then Under 10s squad competing in the North Staffs Junior Youth League (NSYJL). His impact was immediate - helping the team to secure victory in the Doug Brown Trophy during his very first game and setting the tone for what became a fantastic season.
Since then, Elijah has continued to develop his game with the young Eagles and impressing coaches and team mates alike with his with his dedication and talent. His hard work and continuing progress were recognised at the end of last season when he was picked up by the Wolves.
Team Manager Dan Chell commented:
"Elijah is a talented player with attributes of strength, power, speed and skill - combined with a keen eye for goal. More than this, he is an incredible young man - his smile can brighten any room and he always takes advice and guidance on board. This has helped him to elevate his game to the next level. Everyone at Eccleshall FC wishes Elijah all the success on his footballing journey and he will always be welcome at the Stoke Signage Stadium".
We now look forward to watching his continued success and congratulate him on this exciting opportunity.
