Some football facts about Adam Proudlock

It has already been highlighted that the main part of Adam's professional career was at Wolves and Sheffield Wednesday, with spells at other clubs. Here are some other facts about our new manager.

Adam began his career as a trainee with Wolves in 1998 and joined Clyde at the start of the 2000/01 season to gain experience. He scored a hat trick on his professional debut on 5. August 2000 against Falkirk. He scored five times in six games for Clyde and was named Scottish Division 1 Player of the Month for August 2000.

Adam's transfer from Wolves to Sheffield Wednesday in September 2003 was for a fee of £325,000.

Over his playing career, he achieved the following:

Wolverhampton Wanderers Division 1 Play Off Winner 2002/2003
Sheffield Wednesday League 1 Play Off Winner 2004/2005
Stockport County League 2 Play Off Winner 2007/2008
AFC Telford Conference North Play Off Winner 2010/2011

As a manager, Adam won his first trophy in May 2018 when he led his Newport Town team to victory in the TJ Vickers Shropshire Premier Cup . Their 3-1 win over Haughmond was notable because they defeated a team who were two divisions higher than them.

Let's hope that he can lead the Eagles to some success when football eventually gets under way again.
