
A season of goals, points and plenty of laughs along the way. We will walk into the premier division next season with confidence and a clear understanding of the job that we have ahead of us.
A squad that was pretty much decided from the onset with just a few additions to the original lads that were already here, they really took to the new manager and his bright ideas. What started as just Nick, Tom and JJ, before welcoming Dougie and Mike later on in the season, there was a lot that had to be changed and that change the lads adapted very well to.
From the first game of the season winning 4-1 away to Alsager to going on and netting at least 2-4 goals in most games. Cup runs we had a couple, reaching two semi-finals and just missing out both times, the lads showed grit and determination and although it wasn’t to be, they did a job in the league. To go unbeaten in the league is a job in itself, and truly something to be proud of. The lads have really shown just what they can do.
On top of that on the 23rd May we played Warstone Wanderers at Stafford Town in the battle of East vs West going on to beat them 5-0 securing the Division One Championship.
